QUL / Qulu use of the article follows the same 's / lu, so for example do not say QUL spider, spider but Qulu , and does not speak Qulu backpack but QUL backpack, etc. ... consonant following the rules of the meetings of the definite article.

A possible derivation of the Demonstration QUL / Qulu is found in Latin in the same evolution that led to the birth of the Italian correspondent that / that :
- ECCUM ILLUM *> eccu illustrated> cu illustrated > quillu> that *
properly in Latin means is what the accusative case.
This diagram shows the evolution from eccum illum to the ( that has been generated by the later, in Tuscany) . Under the arrangement, therefore, the demonstration osimo Qulu could be born the third stage of evolution ( cu illustrated > Qulu), while QUL may have generated Qulu parallel to that .
Contraction or evolution? The demonstration
QUL / Qulu is now very common and perfectly normal use of Osimo, however, should be entered in the parlance of Osimani no more than one hundred and fifty. In fact, in a document of the mid-nineteenth century vernacular also reported by Don Carlo Grillantini in one of his works, most times they are used practically the same as demonstrative Italians: in fact we find the phrases that king and the lady . This may therefore negate the evolution from eccum illum above, justifying the demonstration QUL / Qulu as contraction of the diphthong we in that / quellu , equally plausible hypothesis. In the dialect anconitano exist in the same way the demo QUL - missing Culu because the article has only anconitano el (el discount equivalent all'osimano discount lu) - which seems to have been used increasingly over the past two centuries.
So we can assume a superposition of the demonstration that anconitano osimo, which was almost exactly equal to those of the Umbrian-Roman (Roman quer / quo, Umbria maceratese quillu ). The anconitano QUL was then adapted to meet consonant dell'osimano producing the form Qulu .
Otherwise it could have been a contraction of the diphthong we spontaneous in both dialects, without one necessarily has influenced the other.
